The Penguins Junior Development Programme is for kids of all ages - from around 6 year olds and up.

As they develop, we have a full suite of teams starting at "10 and Under" and through to the Intermediate League.

ParticipationAnd Competition

Younger grades have a strong focus on participation, however as kids develop their skills, more competitive options become available.

Penguins players are often selected for Regional Representation teams and have enjoyed success at a National level.

Team Development

With some of the best coaches in the region and a strong focus on positive coaching and inclusiveness, the Capital Penguins junior teams play hard and have a great time together - both on and off the rink.

Penguins
Dev Squad

Capital Penguins usually run a Development Squad for juniors in Term 3 and 4 of each year.

This is a great way for those new to the sport to learn, in a cohort with other kids trying it out as well. Most go on to play in the Penguins teams the following year.
