About Inline Hockey
Inline Hockey is fast and fun - suitable for all ages
Inline Hockey is one of the fastest and most action-packed sports for kids and adults alike.
Played on inline skates on a rink, it's similar to Ice Hockey but faster (with no defensive zones or offside rules) and not as full-contact.
The sport is generally played with mixed teams, which works well given it's a skills-based game (and illegal to take out other players). There are also additional Junior Women and Senior Women teams.
In New Zealand there are around 20 Inline Hockey clubs across the country, with a thriving tournament scene locally and nationally - both for social hockey and competitive levels.
Internationally, Inline Hockey is played extensively in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australasia.
